 About Me

My journey with photography began many years ago, when as a child, I was given a Kodak Instamatic for Christmas. I quickly discovered the joy of seeing the images returned in their little envelope, and my passion took off.  Not long after I purchased my first “serious camera”, the Zenith B. I joined a local camera club and a whole new world was opened to me.

A few years ago, I was approached by an exhibition organiser who asked if I would like to take part in an arts exhibition. I was somewhat nervous, but agreed. To my absolute amazement I sold many of the images on display. This gave me the courage to get involved in other exhibitions where I sold my work. At this point I started to think that perhaps I should really get to grips with my photography and booked a course with the photographer, Ben Pipe. Ben and I visited some fantastic areas on the Jurassic coast of Dorset where I learnt new skills and techniques, furthering my technical knowledge.

Since then, I have had the pleasure of attending technical workshops with Andy Mumford in Portugal and Joe Cornish in Yorkshire. Working with these two photographers has been a total joy and inspiration; both of them have taught me so much and given me the confidence to create this website to share my passion.  I am also indebted to Mike Lloyd who has supported my passion and joined me on many occasions, camera in hand.

I am more at home working with landscape photography; happy sitting on a cold hard rock somewhere on a coastline waiting for the right moment. Lately however, I have discovered a new world looking at shapes and textures. I use a Canon 5d M3 and more recently Fuji XT-2 mirrorless.

I hope you enjoy viewing my work.
